The Golden Retreat is basically a first person walking simulator where you have to identify anomalies to proceed. Although you can interact with some objects, it’s not necessary to find things that have changed.
As you progress you discover more and more anomalies that fill up your collection. The game auto-saves the current floor, mistakes, spoken monologues and your seen anomalies. There is also a second ending. Besides that there are several settings to adjust so the game can run even on older systems.
You will encounter several anomalies. Some are just small changes like an object is rotated, other are more noticable and some might even try to kill you?
